SOFT GLAM WEDDING MAKEUP GUIDE

Are you trying to decide on the perfect makeup for your wedding? Whether you want a neutral and elegant look or something bold and colorful to match your wedding theme, choosing the right makeup style can be challenging.

When I think of spring/ summer brides I think of glowing skin, bronze, pink hues, light to medium browns, peachy tones, champagne shimmers, fresh, soft but still glam makeup! When I think of autumn / winter brides I think of radiant skin, Bronze, warm tones, browns, deep pinks and red undertones.

In the Spring / Summer months I commonly see blush, sage, baby blue, lilac or champagne dresses. In the Autumn/ Winter months I often see more jewel tones, Hunters green, burgundy, burnt oranges, black dresses. It can also be difficult to know what style of makeup compliments the colour scheme of your bridesmaid dresses too! Neutral / the monochromatic makeup style is amazing for both brides and bridesmaids. Monochromatic makeup is where the same tonal palette and hues are used throughout the whole makeup.

To keep everyones makeup looking timeless it truly is best to keep the makeup on the neutral side rather than go bold or too dark - especially in the lighter, hotter summer months. Neutrals range from beige, browns, coppers, pink hues, bronze tones. This is very flattering on each skin tone and hair colour. This also means the makeup is guaranteed to compliment the bridesmaid dresses, hairstyles and of course your wedding dress / overall look. Happy bride + Happy bridesmaids = best day ever!

My signature style of makeup is soft glam. This style of makeup is typically very neutral / monochromatic, no harsh lines, blended contours and blush, neutral lips, half lashes, 3/4 lashes or cluster lashes, softened lash lines or smokey liners. This style of makeup generally suits everyone and can be toned down or enhanced to suit each individual.
